Letting the creativity flow

Neither of us is afraid to dream big.

When it comes to planning this wedding, we’ve had some fun letting our creative juices flow. There’s been more than a few times that we’ve had a few drinks and spent the afternoon floating in the pool letting some real zany ideas fly. Instead of saying no to an idea, each of us would try to one-up each other with something more outlandish. That’s one of the reasons we work so well together. We embrace each other’s crazy. Neither one of us would ever try to dull the other’s shine, we polish that shit until it sparkles. Trying to out crazy each other’s ideas is a fun way to plan a wedding. Probably the best way to fine tune an idea into something you both want instead of the standard back-and-forth compromise.

Several great ideas have come from this process, many of which we are struggling to not share until the wedding day. We’re struggling not to share them in this post now. Anytime we see any of you, we just want to blurt out ‘OMG we’re going to do this and this and this…’. Both of us have different creative avenues, but they somehow compliment each other. It’s so much more than Sue saying “we should do this” and Rudy just getting it done (IYKYK - haha). We’re blending our personalities and passions into all of it.
